Dr. Jessica Downs joined our office in September 2003. Dr. Downs and Dr. Crise have similar orthodontic philosophies,  both having completed the prestigious orthodontic residency program at Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Downs originally hails from Yorktown, Virginia, which is in the southeastern part of the state near Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. After graduating from the University of Virginia (Go Wahoo's!), she moved to San Diego for a year before returning to the Medical College of Virginia at Commonwealth University for Dental School. Baylor College of Dentistry brought Dr. Downs to Dallas, and she has decided to become a true Texan and stay here to practice. When she's not straightening teeth, Dr. Downs enjoys going to the movies, swimming and visiting her nephew and niece.

Dr. Downs' family includes one sister who lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband and their children. Her mother and father still live in Virginia, but the whole crew gets together for vacations.  She now lives in McKinney with her rambunctious black Labrador retriever named Kona.
